Why do some Haitians still talk so bad about Voodoo and what does helping Haiti have to do with Voodoo?

We have some Haitians who have no idea of where they come from and where they going.

If one thinks that self hatred will get him to heaven...wait still.

They don't even know that the word Voodoo and Samba mean spirit.

The word got distorted because Haitians had to have nothing to do with Africa after being free. In other words, they had to reject their African culture.

Many Haitians have used Voodoo in a very negative way, let's face it. Same as many Christians who use Christianity for racism, money, deceits and power etc.

Many of these Haitians have no clue about Christianity either.

They accept it because it is their old master's religion which makes them proud to be. The world is running towards enlightment but many of these "N's" are holding us back like crabs.

I am living in a place where there is no Haitian at all but my love and respect for my culture as a Christian make everyone that I come across want to know about Haiti and Haitians.
