My english is better than my french so here goes. Haitians are treated worse than nothing in all of the countries in the caribbean from The Bahamas in the north down to our neighbours in the south but what do you expect when we treat our own Haitian brothers and sisters the same way. When you go to Haiti it is us who are committing the crimes and kidnappings against each other.

It is us who have the rest avek children it is us who are not paying our taxes, it is also us who are charging our own brothers and sisters over $500 U.S to smuggle them to other countries on sloops and when we feel like it we throw some overboard.

It is us no one else but us. It is us who are stealing the money that belongs to the people and it is also us who refuse to invest in our own country.

The other reason why those in the caribbean treat us like crap is because we accept it, we go into their countries illegally, not even bothering to apply legally, then the first thing we do is have 5 or 6 kids. We do not try to build up that country but rather live in slums without electricity or water.

We accept that us normal.

We do not try to educate ourselves and our children but rather make a quick buck and call it a day. When we teach ourselves our history and teach our kids our history, when we try to help each other then others will treat us like the royalty that we are. When Haitians in the U.S Canada, France and elsewhere get off their pampered seats and go back home to build and invest and stop complaining then others will follow.

But as long as we who have some money continue to mistreat those who have done, and until we accept the mulattoes as Haitians nothing will ever change.

So in the words of Ghandi, Be the Change that You want to see.
