Gerald,

I hear your plight and I share the shame and the frustration with you.

Tourism is a government's project/program and not the Haitian diaspora.

In fact, the the Haitian diaspora is the only kind of tourist visiting Haiti.

If Haitians would stop traveling to Haiti, the country will sink down the bottom of the ocean.

Gerald, it would not make any sense to build 5 star hotels in Haiti if there is no one to stay in them. Understand that the main reason for Haiti's failed tourist attration distination is due to the fact that Haiti is under ECONOMIC SANCTION/EMBARGOES from US, and from the international community, and this is why there aren't no investments (factories, big corporations, etc.) in Haiti.

As much as I despise the Haitian government, but as being devil advocate, I do understand the "conspiracy" that our country is also enduring that prevents it from moving forward.

In my opinion, I think we, Haitian diaspora, would help our country better by organizing protests all over the glob presuring the United States and the international community to left up all these sanction/embargoes that have been imposed on Haiti for so long. They also need to forgive the foreign debts of Haiti as they did for all the other countries.

Can't everybody see this accomplicity well ochestreted meant purposely to destroy Haiti?

We, Haitians, are so brainwashed, we are incapable to see and think critically about this great injustice perpetrating on our country.

The white master keep using all kind of logic/reasons and justification for not investing in Haiti and we, Haitians, are so brain dead and brain washed we keep supporting all of these nonesense idiotic and insulting arguments such as: crime, corruption, mismanagement, illeteracy, voodoo, etc....

Can anyone point out one country that is crime free, corruption free, mismanagement, etc..?

And yet none of these country is being sanctioned economically by the United States.

Jamaica is known to be the crime empire of the Caribbean, and yet you see tourist ads being run all over the place, there is plenty of investment in that country.

The United States is known to be the crime empire of the world with the biggest prison population than any other indistrilized countries, and its high corruption has finally put the world market in a halt, and yet, the world doesn't impose sanction on US for that.

I could go on and on on this issue, but I just wanted you to get my drift.
