Legrand,

You said "President Clinton by example has worked with the US Congress to increase the salary of the President from $200,000 a year to $400,000. President Clinton lobbied Congress hard for the passage of this legislation, however, he could not benefit from it. The new salary was effective with the new president."

What is the relevance of this example to the US constitution or the Haiti's constitution?

This is not an amendment to the US constitution, this was simply a "law".

The US constitution calls only for elected public official to get paid for their service, but no where in the US constitution the exact amount of an elected public official's salary is posted.

You said "As it relates to multiple commissions created to study the "dual citizenship" issue, it may be too many but it is not as simple as you may imagine."

Only in Haiti where you would get a myriad of commission to study a dual citizenship, just thinking about it makes me want to vomit.

Once again, that proves how incompetent, mediocre, and intellectually bankrupt we are as a people.

Haitians seem to be approaching the "dual citizenship" issue as a big project/program the government is about to undergo, but needs to get statistic facts before going forward.

Dual citizenship is not a complicated issue like you people want to make it seem to be. The cave man seems to understand the meaning of "dual citizenship" much better than we do, and why is that?

And finally, you asked "Why do we have more than one million non-for-profit organizations in the US?

It is one country."

Simple! the bottom line (MONEY) is the motivation for all of these organizations in the US.

When it comes to dual citizenship, it is either the Haitian government wants or does not want to give it to its citizens, pure and simple.

Putting in place to study "dual citizenship" is the most nonsense, idiotic, moronic, and pathetic process that I have ever seen.

I really don't care if you don't agree, but as a Haitian born who grew up in my native country, Haiti, it is my full and complete RIGHT to keep my Haitian citizenship.

Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT a "privilege." Naturalized US-citizen is a privilege.

Haiti is the ONLY country that refuses to accept dual citizenship because those who are the government are too afraid to loose their posts/seats to educated Haitians from the diaspora.

Haitians are denied the right of their citizenship status out of fear, jealousy, paranoia, and selfishness in the part of those who ruling/governing the country.

"You can fool some people sometimes, but you cannot fool all the people all the time" (Bob Marley)

Lots of Haitians, today, are fully capable of "critical thinking", nor you or the government can fool us anymore.
