We have a democracy not an autocracy

In the past I've been very critical of the Prime Minister because of the way he handled the insecurity.
But it would be very childish of the Lower Chamber to issue Mr. Alexis a vote of no confidence over this matter before an official investigation takes place.
I don't support police brutality but we cannot know what really happened unless there is a some sort of inquiry.
Mr. Selondieu I'd you to answer these questions.
Why won't you consider the Deputy actions?
Where does it say that you can't arrest a lawmaker?
Nobody is above the law in a democracy.
By refusing to consider the Lawmaker's action you're saying guilty or not he's actions do not matter because he is above the law. You're basically saying he's not accountable to anyone.
Congressman in the US goes to jail all the time for fraud and other crime, the president of Isreal is facing prosecution over rape charges as we speak.
Why should Haiti be any different?
Nobody has unlimited immunity in a democracy, a diplomat would probably have to leave the country if he committed a crime.
I'm gonna use the same analogy again; if Nancy Pelosi violated a law, the public and media would have focus on the crime, they would have been asking why a responsible official is violating the law. No one would be excusing her wrongdoings because she holds an esteem title.
If the officers are guilty they should be fired but the Lower Chamber should not overstep its boundaries.
This is a judicial matter.
