Respect earn you don't just get it just because!
As much that I would love to disagree with you but I actually in agreement with you on one hand but of course I don't agree on the other.

I don't believe we should go around firing people nor should the police offers goes around beating people.

The police offers should be discipline by higher ranking officer or put them on desk duties.

If you fired them they will react violently but if you discipline, they will try to keep there job.
Haiti doesn't get any respect because we are begging for money from the international community every day, and Haiti makes headline news every other day for nothing other than negative.

Respect will earn when we starting to help ourselves.
