Linda, I read a post last week where you said that your first language is now English.

Therefore I know you are a US citizens.

You have plenty of food, you are safe, you have a college education, you have a beautiful house, you are leaving the American dream like lot of us in the diaspora.

Maybe it is selfish and hypocritical that because some of us want to have a backup country that we let Haitian children die of hunger, our sisters kidnapped and rape our brothers beheaded for 200 more years.

Think about it, we tried for 200 years and we were unable to govern ourselves.

Maybe we should be honest for once and admit that we are a failed state and wish we could become like Puerto Rico. Lets not dream about someday as any educated person after carefully assessing Haiti situation can affirm it won't get much better.

Lets not talk about pride, we are known as international beggars.

Lets not talk about History, every Haitian that could leave the country left.
Lets not let our emotions overwhelm us, so we can analyze it with objectivity.
