Ralph
You seem to be insulting my intelligence.
What have you said that is so complicated for me to understand?
I understand very well what you are saying.
Can you show me one person, including the cave man, who is against education.
You seem to be so preocupied of promoting your computer science project in Haiti, you keep dismissing everything that I am trying to say. You cannot have that type of attitude when you want to bring change.
Everybody's inputs is important when you want to bring change.
You seem to believe your idea of having a computer science program in Haiti is the best because that is the only thing that is going to save Haiti out of its misery, and therefore, it's got to be your way or no way.
You want to create a master degree of computer science program in Haiti, I am very happy for you, go ahead and do it, but don't try to insult my intelligence for not joinning you in such important endeavor of yours.
We all know there are very limited trade schools in Haiti, I had attended two myself.
One is called "L'ecole Professional" in Cap-Haitian and the other one called "L'ecole professional de St. Jean-Bosco" also located in Cap-Haitian.
I don't think none of these schools are still in operation, today.
We all know more too well that colleges and Universities in Haiti gear more toward accademy than majors of concentration, except for medical school, law school, and engineering school.
I always wanted to see all that change.
I always wanted to see students attend college and university and specialize in career goals, which the current education system doesn't offer.
However, it would be naive, irresponsable, even an illusion for me to think I can just go to Haiti and change all that on my own by not getting the approval and the conscent of the government.
Once again, Ralph, you can trash it all you want to, but the fact remains there is a system in Haiti with a government that is in charge, and you better get the government on board with you before going about chaging the nation education system.
To think you don't need the government approval and conscent to change the nation education system is pure illusion and frankly with a lot of arrogance.
If you really think you can bypass the government and create/develop your own master's degree program for your computer science program, more power to you man.
In my view, it would make more sense if you would suggest about meeting the education secretary/the government with some proposals to bring change in the education system.
You keep asking me and Linda to join you for change, and yet, you still cannot present us with a plan of action, a well detailed blue point of approach.
