Ralph

You can spend your time trashing Haiti out of frustration and impatience all you want to, The fact reamins that it is their system, their life and their culture.

While we're at it, let me simply say that there isn't a best culture, or a perfect culture, nor a good culture.

They are all different.

Furthermore, as incompetent and mediocre is the government, but there is a government in charge in Haiti and NO fundamental change can take root in Haiti without the cooperation, the willingness, and the blissing of the government.

I really don't see you, as one person can go to Haiti and change the education school system on your own, unless you know something that you're not telling us.

You can move back to Haiti and force the American system, the American culture and the American way of life down their throat, and all I can say to you is "good luck", I hope you succeed.

Let me know how it went down for you.

Ralph, you keep asking me to join forces with you to make change, what kind of change are you talking about?

Are you talking about joinning your technology education program?

Or are you talking about a different kind of change?

And if I don't join forces with, what would that make me, an anti-change or what?

Ralph education is NOT the only form of change a person/people can bring to a country or community.

There is a multitude of ways someone/people can contribute to bring change to a country or community.

As an engineer, everybody can tell that your passion seem to be on education, and that's what you are eager to change in Haiti.

On the other hand, for me, my passion can be on something else and so forth because our country, Haiti, is loaded with areas that desperatly need improvements or need to be dismentaled completely to build/create new ones.

You mentioned that Haitians have been living the French system for centurie and yet that doesn't serve them any, and yet, you are ademently want them to adopt the American system, culture, and way of life. That doesn't sound smart to me at all.

And that's proves my point.

Haiti needs to step away completely from adopting the system, culture, and ways of life of other countries, and create their own culture, system, and way of life.

Research has shown that no one or country can fully progress by immitating a foreign system, culture and way of life.

Ralph, believe me when I say that I am as frustrated and impatience as you are and so many other Haitians about the state of our country and the inability of the so-called leaders to bring positive change in Haiti, but however, I am being practical about the approaches we, Haitians, want to use to bring those changes.

You went to school to study technology and become an engineer, I on the other hand went to school to study ways and tactics to bring change to a country or community and I become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

I know everything I need to know about bringing change in people lives, to a country and to a community.

Yes, it is true that one person usual that's all it's needed to start bringing change, but it would take a lifetime before you can start noticing a difference.

However, to have quick change and more profound change that would last a lifetime, you need awhole community, awhole country behind you.
