I feel your frustration, but US government, your government, helped created that primitive system by helping all of these incompetent and mediocre in power as the best way for US to get full control of the country.

Second, I see a little bit of arogance in your part by shipping an automobile to Haiti with the firm believe that you will have no problem to get it out of custom just because you are an American (maybe white) running some kinfd of fishing program in Haiti to feed the Haitian people.

You acting as if the contrary would be true in United States.

Furthermore, if you have no entention of staying in Haiti for any length of time, why shipping your personal vehicle to Haiti when you could find a vehicle to your disposal?

I think you are being a victim of your own arrogance and your complex of superiority.

Learn to respect other cultures and systems.

No all countries operate like US.
