wrong, wrong, wrong.

Its not the people that elect The president.

In fact, the people that elect the president, stated their voice, they show interest in the country.

They were probably tricked into believing that person could make a change, but they are not responsible.

The people who are responsible are the one who is not doing anything, the one who think my voice doesn't matter, I can't change anything.

because the truth is we can change everything.

we just need to believe that and start working on it. so stop the blaming and start doing before its too late for us. true, we not doing such a good job running the country, but giving up certainly will not fix our country.

Asking for help is not the saddest part here, its the fact that we ask for help, but we don't see where that help is going.

I hear of a lot of countries donating millions to Haiti, but I don't really know where that money goes. We need to get involved, ask questions, provide our labor to the country and demand a fair share.

we don't need to fight, kidnap, or kill, we need to work, think and apply.

everybody think that it should all just suddenly turn good, but we need to invest.

we need to invest time, energy and learn to make sacrifice for our country.

now I have a simple concept on how i think we can help by each doing our part, and when it all comes together, the change will be big.
we can provide:
schooling by investing on it together.

now the problem with people donating is the fact that they don't know where there money is going.

I completely agree.

since donating have become so hard because of lack of result, we can do more, we can participate.

I mean we can be phisically present, we can draw out plans together and each take part to see it come to life. we can visit.

for example, if we want to start a school for kids who are less fortunate, we can visit the construction site to make sure that a school is really being built there.

sure you are busy with work and family and other things, but if you're haitian, chances are you go to visit anyways.

maybe you go on vacation.

you can drop by to see where your money is going.

and instead of randomly giving money to stranger, you can actually start you own committee.

Have people you know are fighting the same cause together and invest in your country.

that way you are part of that organization, you are managing your money, and you have control over where it goes. it can be something as simple as sending some clothes or some food to a certain part of the country.

Or you can do like I do, if you have a member of your family in haiti that you trust would not take your money, you can send them money to buy things to give to the poor. It might seem little, but you might be saving somebody's life. During holiday, you can send about a hundred dollars to a trusted member of your family if you have it and have them by toys for the homeless orphans with no hope. you could put a smile on a kid's face. or you can send a hundred dollars to a trusted family member if you have it and have them prepare a hot meal for the homeless.

you can change somebody's day.
