haiti 4 life,

You said "ok the mayor disapprove the permit but the man went behind her and build anyway that is why he is in jail today.

So don't blame my government..."

Let me say, if you are not on drugs, you must be on some very power sh8t, really.

Once again you just proved the incompetence and the mediocrity of your government.

Someone in your government must have known that the person was carrying on the construction after being denied the permit.

This is not something you can do in secreet wihout anyone knowing.

Homes don't get built in Haiti in a week, or 2 weeks, not even in one year. It takes a very longtime to build a home/house in Haiti.

Somebody in your government knew the construction was going on but failed to stop it because maybe the law enforcement officer was paid a few dollars by the owner to keep quit, or the government just did not care that the constuction was going on, period.

Either way. the government is to blame for not having a sound counstruction laws and enforcement system in place.

In the United States, for example, wherever somebody is building a home in the country the local authorities know about it, and if you did not get a permit you will not build that home, and if you try to even dig the foundation the police would invade your house in a second and take you away for violating the law.

Those building and building equipments that collapsed in New York a few months ago, the blame went directly to the city government for not inspecting those equipments and not inspecting the building code, not the citizens.

Once again, citizens don't make laws, the government does. However, the citizens must obey and abide by the law if there is any, unfortunate there are no laws in Haiti.

Haiti is a free for all. People do whatever they what, how ever they want, and whenever they want to. Everybody makes their own laws and regulations as they go along.

And whose fault is that, do you think?

The government's, not the citizens's.

In case you did not know the role of government, let me inform you that the role of the government is: "To serve and to protect."

Do you think your government has been fulfilling that role?
