Linda, Raynald the problem is within ourselves.
Altought it manifest it self thru our goverment however we must admit that as a people we have lost our sense of identity, our purpose, our values.
It was not wealth that used to define us but our history, nor our conformist state of mind but the uniqueness of our integrity, nor our selfish approch to our problem but our civic sense of responsability to each other, our sense of community, togetherness.
We are so disconnected that we can no longer visualize where we want to be. We are so divided by: religion, social class, language, regions, educated non educated that we are unable to organize as one and unite for a commun cause: a better Haiti.
we can not be over come totally by this lethagic state and be completly paralyze.
We know that the problems are there and they are real. Everyone seems to have a solution but no one is willing to joing together for a commun cause.
In my humble opinion, we need to mobilize and start a non violent grassroot movement, we can call it Haitiens for a better Haiti, first of all, we need to create a website or a blog (Woodring that were you come in) dedicated only to provide a voice and debate Haiti's problem and look for solutions to solve them. We can take a page at Obama's book: Unity and solutions from the bottom up. (to be continued)
