Woody, I just finished taping my show in Haiti for saturday night and i feel you. What you say is basically what I just said in my show and we need more people to stand up to the hypocrasy of our "leaders", if we can call them that. This is just despicable.

You do need to get a permit from the city in Haiti to build.

But this is just a tax imposed on people.

No building, electrical, plumbing or whatever plans plans need to be submitted to get that permit.

No one checks on the construction and when it's done, you just move in. When it's a building serving the public, it's just the same. I thought that all buildings had to be inspected before they granted a school licence in Haiti.

I wonder if this school passed that inspected?

can we do something?

Yes we can. how?

By making our voices heard loudly so that when we choose a government, we can choose it on the basis that we will have a true leader with dignity and respect.
