we never learn

I was just reading about a new deal sign by Haitians business leaders and a Delaware waste wood company in which Haiti will buy tons of waste wood from Delaware.

Although I think that will immediately decrease the deforestation problems in Haiti, but I was most surprised that there was no suggestion that the state of Delaware would buy anything from Haiti from fruit to whatever.

This is an example of the failure of the Haitian government and the businesses community to make proper trade policies that will help create jobs for ordinary Haitians.

Those people seem to never learn the importance of having trade policies; every great country has such to benefit their country, not to satisfy just a few pockets.

Every country who wants to sell to Haiti, they come and sell their goods, when it comes to us selling things to them, hmm that is an other story, not that we ever had a government since papa doc that requested that anyway.

This kind of practices is called `` trade deficit` and it is very hurtful to a country's a economy, because what it means is that we are employing workers from other countries while they aren't employing any of ours. What a mess
Imagine what it would be liked if the government could require that every new car that is to be sold in Haiti must have been assembled in Haiti, this would create thousands of jobs, for ordinary Haitians, from engineer to mechanician, and so so. This was the case not so long ago, that many of the cars that Haitians bought were assembled in Haiti.

Imagine what it would be like if we could ask any country we are buying from to buy for a $100 for every $ 1000 we buy from them.
I don't know when we will start thinking with our brain, literally
