Your response highlights an essential point that i made. Which is that it is so much easier to critize than to come up with pragmatic solutions.
Let me add that i'm not associated with any political parties but i am a haitian who would love to see some real changes in Haiti.
Those who advocate cutting of aid obviously don't have any children, wives, husbands, brothers, sisters, mothers or fathers in Haiti who rely squarely on them. Then again i may be wrong, not everybody values family responsibilities.
Should a father stop supporting his children because of politics?
His first duty is to his family, not politics.
Should he let them go hungry, is his responsibility to the state or to his children?
Therefore that scenario will not work. I enjoy a great discussion but if you're going to regard my comment as bizarre and wrong you should present some hard facts or a well thought-out rebuttal that validates your position.
Tell me why you're right and how you would follow through if we were to adopt your suggestion.
Words alone are not enough.
The most important thing is that you just reminded me why i stopped visiting this site in more than a year. That is people make the most preposterous comments and then belittle the response of those who disagree rather then offering substantial evidence to support their argument.
It would be so easy for me to say that Haiti is doomed because of the superficial propositions i hear sometimes but i don't believe that.
