Please allow me to put in my ten cent and add self-awareness to that list (believe me there's more that I could add but I'll stop with self-worth).

You see, if who you are, what you stand for, and your color have been associated with inferiority all your life, you will wear the mark until you love it, unless of course somewhere on your journey of life are learn different and see the superior you. And because of this, Tiba, you can't blame the "Dr." for his opinions.

Now Dr., I understand that you are a reverend, and your stand on voodoo is probably the same as any true Christian.

But at the same time "Dr." you make us wonder where you received your doctorate because even if you are against voodoo from a religious stand point, history, and modern age politics, has surely proved that Haiti's condition is due to more then just voodoo.

I have to be a little contradictive to my comment about not blaming you "Dr", because if it was not for education, I would probably have the same mind frame as you do. But their plan failed when they allowed me, not just me but all of us who have learned better, to learn of their dirty tricks.

Because that knowledge liberated US, opened our eyes, and we find that we are on the same pedestal with them, if not beyond.

So "Dr." it's not just voodoo that has Haiti(ans) in the position it's in, it's the people's lack of self-worth(among other shortcomings).

When Tiba stated that "We need to stop waiting and looking for the master to fix our country for us because it is never going to happen until we, Haitians, take matters into our own hands." He was right.

All Haitians, whether voodoo lovers or not, need to stop thinking that some prince, deity, ougan, manbo, king, or president is going to wave the magic wand over out nation and fix it. It's we who has to do it. And Tiba said it best when he stated "let us put our intelligence and expertise to the use of our country" and as the elders use to say "piti piti, pezape na rive" (we will get there little by little).

I said this before and I'll say it again, we know the problem of our nation let's execute a plan of action and put it to work, together.
