It amazes me every time to see either the government or Haitians using all kind of strategies there are in the book to distract the people's attention from their misery, hunger and poverty.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for the rivival of the Haitian culture by all means necessary.

In fact, I was the first person on this blog to bring this important and crucial topic up.

Nonetheless, the government and the Haitian people need to start talking about job creation, education, an health system, a funtional telecommunication system, and basic infrustructures that would lure foreign investers to Haiti, which in turn would create more employment for the people.

Enough is enough with all of this entertainment whether is cultural, pleasure, etc...

that will feed not one person in Haiti.
