as a person born in Haiti .
I always know that Iam a Afro-Latino.
some haitians and Dominicans are not aware of that .
I live in the Carolinas I attend a Christin church.
Ther is a map of latin ameria along with all flags.
Haiti is included .
I told my niece that she is afro latina .
She said to me no Iam not I dont speak spanish.
I told her that is a misconception .
That us as haitians are latinos.
We speak creole, french which is official.
Pockets of the Haitian population also speak spanish aswell (maybe we can make spanish official).Thanks for spreading the knowledge.
Example my wife is Brazilian the official language is portuguese they are also latinos...
