Give credits where credits is due and perhaps reread Haitian history from different sources other than Haitian authors.

There are too many half truths out there that were written about Haitian history for the benefit of the local population.

But considering the level of intellect of the majority of the black population of Haitians past and current, their way of life, their value system, their religious practices.

their propensity for corruption, treachery, violence, and considering all of Haitian history from the black cultivateurs, Jean Kina, Toussaint, Dessaline, Soulouque, Duvalier,Perhaps the Haitian minority have reason to feel nothing but loathing for many Haitian compatriots.

About the past, I was not around but Christophe attacked Port-au-Prince because he wanted more power.

Then he crowded himself emperor and cause over 20thousand or more Haitians to loose their lives.

And why would the mulatoes renounce the "French" culture, education, catholicism, when in fact one of their parents was French.Did you forget that a Black person regardless or the skin tone were unable to acquire and education in the Americas.

Perhaps you do not understand a biracial person is just that biracial.

They cannot claim Africa or Europe.

I tell you a secret: "In fact they can't stand either side" Its very difficult to renounce one parent for another.

The mulattoes had French genes and French blood.

It was enough I think that they sided with the Africans creole due to the French Government and colonials oppressive, manipulative, and sanguinary practices, but they cannot have been expected to renounce a group of people who represented the most advance civilization known to mankind on earth in those days and still is (one of them at least) for the culture and practices of a group of people who were at the lowest level of civilization known to mankind ( meaning Africans south of the sahara desert).

The majority of Haitians are still not quite civilized 204 years later.

Frankly do you enjoy hearing that Haiti is the poorest, most backward, most illiterate, still living in huts with dirt floors,still riding donkeys, and their children are still walking around in their birthday suits.

I will not mention voudou practices since it seems that's just another way of worshiping god and ancestors from Africa you know the same Africans who betrayed them and the sames ancestors who did not protect them from slavery.

The animal cruelty and sacrifices need to go, thats the only religion that requires blood letting that I know of. I feel great shame when people tell me they have been to Haiti or are talking about Haitians.
