I don't know President Preval, I've never met the guy but I will tell you this...

Right now, I don't want to be in his shoes.

As matter of fact I don't event think I want to be the president of Haiti right now.

Everybody is upset in Haiti because of "La Vi Chè" and everyone wants President Rene Preval to waive his magic wand and make it disappear.

In the history of mankind there was once a man who fed a whole lot of people with just one fish and one piece of bread but that man is long gone...

He died and went back to heaven

I don't believe such a miracle happened since.

The people of Haiti made their point, "La Vie" in Haiti "Coute Trè Cher".

I believe the president and his staff got the message.

We should all sit back, relax, and give the guy a few months to come up with solutions.

Men-m si se mayi Preval al plante nan mòn Mamlad pou li bay pep la manje, they still have to wait for "2 Mwa" for it to be ready.

I think Preval is a cool guy, I think he is an honest man...

He got the message...

Now give him some time!

There is something else I want to share with you...

"Poor People Like Me!"

It has always been my dream to go back to Haiti and build a business there but I've been thinking...

I was born poor...

I grew up poor...

I am still poor...

I want to be rich one day...

But looking at how poor people like me have no respect for other poor people like me who are trying to better their lives by building a business, I am having second thoughts...

Knowing that poor people like me who spend 20, 30 years sweating and working overtime in the United States to build a nice house in Haiti so other poor people like me can trash it, I am having second thoughts...

Seeing how poor people like me are vandalizing the businesses built from the sweat and blood of other poor people like who are just tired of being poor and decide to work hard so that one day "Yo ka rive", so that one day their kids can have a future, I am having second thoughts...

It's better to be poor in America than to be rich in Haiti

I am not rich...

But I want to be...

Some day...

Why can I not be rich in my own country?

Why can I not be successful in my own country?

I know why...

Because other poor people like me...

they just can't let me go...

So every time I try to better myself so that I can be somebody so that one day I can do something really big so that one day I can help other poor people like me...

Poor people like me get scared and they knock me down.

They want me to stay down there...

They want me to be poor like them...

What a shame!

I had such bid dreams...

Dreams that could benefit all the poor people like me...

Now I have to start all over again!

This is dedicated to all the people in Haiti whose businesses have been vandalized.

I am Woodring Saint Preux and I said it.
