Hi,Maybe I am wrong.
But it seems to me during black history the american media and organizations only praise black americans.
In that regard, I want to say before there were Frederic Douglass,Medgar Evers, Harriet Tubman, W.E.B Du Bois, Marcus Garvey, Dr. ML King, George Carver,Booker T. Washington..etc...
there were Toussaint Louverture, Boisrond Tonnerre, Henry Christophe, Lamour Derance, Jean-Baptiste Sans Souci,Marie Jeanne, Sanite Belair, Alexandre Petion,Magny Lamartiniere, Makandal, Chareron, Jean Francois Biassou, Papillon, Capois LaMort...
and all the other haitian black jacobins.
Viva Africa's eldest daugther.
All concerned Haitian needs to come together to make our ancestral heros household names.
