Rubens:
What postal system? and what railroad? I have doubt about those who wrote about our history.
One day, you will read that "Aristide" had built beautiful recreation parks in Haiti.
But you know that he had built a bunch of stupid little "Place Publique" to distract our people, so they can forget about their misery.
Look, you are educated, you have the opportunity to travel.
Do not live in the dreams of those who just woke up one morning and decide to write the history of Haiti, and start writing that we had this and that.
If we had these infractuctures, where are the remainings? where did they go? who destroyed them? you, me,or maybe Duvalier?
Some Haitian historians will tell you, that we were a rich country.
When I was in high school in Haiti, one history teacher was trying to convince me that we were so rich that we had financially supported the U.S. when I asked him to prove it with facts, he reported me to the "Direction" where they punished me to stay after school time.
Please do not live in the dreams of these histotians.
We are a great and smart Nation, we have smart people working all over the world, but we have always been a poor nation living in a country with no infrastructures.
Wake up, and smell the poverty of our country.
