Actually Rubens, I disagree.
Although I don't think that we should forget the past, I do not see the past as a cause for inaction in the present.
The situation that Haiti finds itself is indeed due to past managers; the reason nothing, no even one thing, has been done to resolve any of the issues that Haitians face presently has nothing to do with the past.
It has to do with PRESENT incompetent leadership.
Had he done one concrete positive thing during his time in power, you could say "well he had a lot to deal with, but he worked like hell and got this or that done." Looking at Haiti's past is good and all, but looking towards Haiti's future is really about working in the present.
