DJAKOUT,

It seems to me that you are freaking out, ou pindat, thinking that someone might do you wrong through Negative VODOU.

This here is a social issue resulting from a lack of education from our people, & which probably won't go away anytime soon.

A social issue with a blend of cultural superstition, has nothing to do with UNITY OR being UNITED.

Superstition is in every culture, every single country on the planet.

In the US, though a very well advanced society, superstiton is a big, big deal! Have you ever heard of the connection being made between Friday & the number thirteen? If your answer is negative, then, consider this, check out a high rise near you, or revisit one you have been to, pay close attention this time around while you are boarding the elevator accessing vorious levels, chances are there might not be a thirteen floor.

There might not be any button numbered thriteen at all. There are many other aspects of American's life that clearly indicative of their superstitious awareness.

It's human instinctive paranormilly taking over in our daily lives.

In matter of susperstiton, Haiti is not that unusual, or unique as the naysayers have been trying to paint her. Wherever there is a hight level of illiteracy, lack of education, ignorance, no sound social rules, a weak justice system, superstition, is high.

Third world countries in Souht America, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, & others, have a higher susperstitious leaning than most developed societies.

In many of those places, individuals can loose their lives base on superstitious suspicions alone.

& in our country, an almost none existant or parasite justice system has left the average citizens with no other judicial remedy than self justice through whatever accessible channels.

When Haiti sart taking steps paralleled to civilized societies, with a fair judicial system, I am sure there would be laws and decrees intending at preventing, curbing bay kout poud, vinn mete boutey ranje devan barber shop yon nonm, poul pa kontinye fe malere a pintad konsa.
