LONG TERM SOLUTION TO FEED THE PEOPLE

Many years ago when The Great Britain was going through the same crisis Haiti is facing today to feed the mass population.

Queen Elizabeth requested the parliament to find a solution to the problem.

An extensive research was conducted, later, the Minister of Agriculture reported, the solution to the problem is a fruit that has all the supplement nutrient to meet the daily diet requirement and can feed the whole population.

But one problem, it grows in Polynesia.

So the tree was imported to the tropic.

In Haiti we have that tree, the name is " Bread fruit"- we call it "Larme veritable" that is correct my friend.

The Haiti Minister of Agriculture should make it a priority to inform the President to get a budget in place, progressively rebuild GB Damin within two years and stablish an up and running program.

Within a year distribution of a "Larme Veritable" tree if may be include but not limited to Grape fruit tree, Avocado tree and Mango Francis tree in the backyard of each citizen.

An education program should be in place through Radio stations and T.V, to educate the people the importance of the trees and how to take care of them.
Larme Veritable is fast growing tree is a win win situation and should become the motif of the Preval presidency.

The green lush provides an ecogeographic beauty to the country.

Regular inpection should be conducted by the students of GB Damin to measure the progress of the trees, if the tree reported cut, stiff fine should be impose.

I am an American who lives and works in Cange in the Plateau Centrale.

I made a pilgrimage to Marmelade to see for myself our new President's village and his work. I was very impressed with the modesty and the cleanliness and the beauty of flowers all around the Little White House.I was even more delighted to observe his 3 industries formed with the Taiwanese: fresh juice, indigenous coffee for export and bamboo furniture.

I believe such a practical person is exactly what Haiti needs most. Later I visited Maison Bamboo in Tabarre, PaP and ordered a piece of Preval furniture.

Mr. President.

I'm not happy with the way you shared the people power with the perpetual enemies of Haiti.Most of your government is saturated with people who couldn't care less about the plight of the mass.They've managed to squandered close to a billion dollars in 2 years while the people could only watch in despair.People who should have been convicted of grand larceny are still filling their pockets with the country's wealth.

Although I could not vote for you, I was very happy that the peple chose you against the manipulation of the filthy elite and their bosses abroad.

Yet it is sad to see that you did not live up to the confidence the people had placed in you.You have not addressed the plight of the political prisoners who are decaying in jail for close to 3 years..You did not get rid of the blood-suckers that are sucking the coffer of the state dry.

Brother i suggest you get the facts before you make such a preposterous statement.

What you're saying is completely untrue.

Noone has squandered close to a billion because to this day Haiti has not even recieved a fraction of the money it was promised by the international community.

Furthermore, when they do final get any money it doesn't go straight to the government.

UN diplomats and advisors are the ones that controls the money.

They decide what to do with it. You're just spreading unfounded rumors.

Just because the international community promises something doesn't mean they will deliver on that promise.

We need to keep that in mind before we blame anyone.
