Rene Preval and Ahmadinejad = Political Suicide President Preval is either really smart of really stupid for taking a picture with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He is constantly seeking the help of the US Government yet he is in contact with all the world leaders that the United States will not talk to "without preconditions" Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Am I missing something?
Caz's comment this photo RE: Rene Preval and Ahmadinejad = Political Suicide Yes indeed, you are missing something. Just because he is seeking the U.S help doesn't mean the U.S wants to help him. The U.S helped bringing down Aristide because of his capabilities of bringing a better life to Haiti. Haiti is the last country in the U.S mind. The U.S seem not to like anybody that can stand up to them. Castro for example. In 1915 U.S invadede Haiti and seized all the valuable assets, if that wasn't enough, they forced Haiti into a contract of twenty more years, they single handedly killed hundred of thousands of civilians. Is he smart for taking pictures with all them boys, Yes.

President Preval and Haitian people do not have problem with any country in the world. Preval can meet any leader he wants to meet with. I think your comment was arrogant, since Haiti loan money from the U.S, and the U.S don't give money to Haiti unless its a disaster. Yes you are missing something just because you are not friend with someone that does not mean everyone you know shouln't be friend with that person. Its a new world leaders are seeking alliance for peace... Get it.....
